How we compared them

We read each vendor's own pricing page on 12 October 2026 and copied the list prices as published. Where a page did not show a price we could read, we wrote "Check current pricing" rather than guess. Each tool gets one best-for label, so no two are pitched at the same reader. The switching section comes from the vendor's own help centre. Magic Marketer® is our product. The choose-them-if lines are written so you can leave this page for someone else.

Why people leave HeyOrca

HeyOrca is built for one job: getting a client to say yes to a post without an email chain. Approval links, a calendar per client, unlimited users. It does that job well.

The reason agencies look around is the bill. Pricing is per calendar, and each client is a calendar. Five clients on Pro is $745 a month before anyone has written a post.

Planable is the closest approvals-first rival. Posts look like the real thing, clients comment in place, and users are unlimited. Basic is $39 a month per workspace, and Pro is $59. Compared with HeyOrca, it is cheaper per client, with post caps per workspace.

Switching from HeyOrca: your calendar, media and reports

Most roundups skip this bit. HeyOrca lets more leave than most tools do.

The short version: your posts export to a spreadsheet, your media comes out one file at a time, and the account locks when the billing period ends.

What moves

Your calendar. Bulk Actions exports up to 200 posts at a time to a spreadsheet, from the Month or Day view.
Your reports, as PDF or spreadsheet files, from the Share button. The AI summaries are left out of the export.
Your media, one file at a time. HeyOrca says bulk download from the Media Library is not possible.

What does not

Connected accounts. Connections do not transfer. You reconnect each profile in the new tool.
Your history, if you delete a profile first. Removing a profile removes its published and upcoming content from the workspace.
Your money. HeyOrca does not give pro-rated credits or refunds.
Client links. Shared links cannot be revoked. We found nothing on what happens to them after you cancel.

In this order

Export the calendar to a spreadsheet, 200 posts at a time, and download the reports you need.
Save the media you want to keep, one file at a time.
Connect your profiles in the new tool and rebuild the calendar there. Magic Marketer® does not import a HeyOrca export - it makes new posts from a source, so use the spreadsheet as your brief.
Delete the scheduled posts in HeyOrca, so nothing goes out twice before the account locks.
Cancel from Billing, then Manage Plan. The plan ends at the end of the billing period. On an annual plan, give notice before the renewal date.

Does Magic Marketer® have client approvals like HeyOrca?

Not the same thing. You can invite clients as team members to review a batch, and every draft waits until someone approves it. There are no public approval links. If the client link is the job, keep HeyOrca.

What is the cheapest HeyOrca alternative for agencies?

For scheduling and reporting, Metricool: free for one brand, then from $20 a month for five. Pallyy Agency is $99 a month for ten social sets. Neither has HeyOrca-style client approval links.

Can I export my posts from HeyOrca?

Yes. Bulk Actions exports up to 200 posts at a time to a spreadsheet, from the Month or Day view. Media downloads one file at a time. Reports download as PDF or spreadsheet.

What happens to my HeyOrca account when I cancel?

The subscription ends at the end of the current billing period and the account is locked then. HeyOrca does not give pro-rated refunds. Annual plans need notice before the renewal date.

Can Magic Marketer® manage multiple clients?

Yes. Each brand has its own voice, guardrails, channels and schedule. Up to 2 brands is one plan, and for 3 or more we quote agency pricing on a demo.
