End-of-month performance summary emails

On the last day of each month, Magic Marketer App emails you a recap of your posting activity — posts created, days you showed up, and a nudge to your best-performing post in Analytics. Admins get a team rollup too.

Consistency is easier when you can see it. Not in a vague "I think I posted a lot this month" way — in actual numbers, landing in your inbox when the month ends.

Today we're shipping end-of-month performance summary emails: a short recap of how you showed up on social over the last 30 days, with a direct link to Analytics to see which post performed best.

What you get

On the last day of each month, eligible users receive an email with:

  • Posts created in the last 30 days
  • Days you posted in that period
  • Days posted all time — a cumulative streak-style number that rewards long-term consistency
  • A link to Analytics to find your best-performing post from the period — reach, engagement, and what to repeat next month

Short, factual, no fluff. The kind of email you actually open because it tells you something useful in ten seconds.

For admins on team plans

Company admins receive a separate rollup: how the team showed up over the last 30 days, with per-teammate posting stats ranked so you can see who's building the habit and who might need a nudge.

It's the same philosophy as the admin dashboard — visibility without micromanagement. You see the pattern; you decide what to do with it.

Opt in during onboarding, toggle any time

New users can opt into the monthly summary during onboarding when they set up their profile. Existing users are opted in by default (same as Monday drafts emails) — we only skip you if you've explicitly turned it off.

To change it later: Settings → You → Notifications. Flip Monthly performance summary on or off. Drafts still generate and Analytics still works — this only controls the email.

When it sends

The job runs on the last calendar day of each month, timed so it lands at a sensible hour in Australian timezones. If you're travelling, the numbers are still "last 30 days" — not tied to your local midnight.

Why we built it

Monday drafts solve "what do I post this week?" Monthly summaries solve "did I actually show up this month?" and "what should I do more of?"

Most people don't open Analytics every day. A monthly nudge — with your best post highlighted — closes the loop between posting and learning what worked.
