New Feature: Posting Cadence — Set Your Own Rhythm

Not everyone wants to post every day. And that's fine — consistency beats frequency every single time.

Until now, Magic Marketer assumed you wanted to post seven days a week. The streak nudges, the daily prompt, the "where were you yesterday?" emails — all of it was tuned to a daily rhythm. For some people that works. For most, it doesn't.

Today we're launching posting cadence — a simple setting that lets you tell Magic Marketer how many days a week you actually want to post, so the whole experience adapts around your real schedule.

How it works

During onboarding (and any time later in Settings → Objective), you pick a number from 1 to 7. That's it.

  • 2 / week — Mondays and Tuesdays. Great for founders juggling client work.
  • 3 / week — Mon, Tue, Wed. The classic "lean in early, coast on Friday" pattern.
  • 5 / week — Weekdays only. Built for people who keep weekends sacred.
  • 7 / week — Every day. The growth-mode default.

The new default for new accounts is 2 days a week — because we'd rather you actually hit your cadence than burn out chasing seven.

What changes when you set it

No more nudges on rest days

The "don't break your streak" and "start your streak again" emails will only fire on days you said you wanted to post. If your cadence is Monday and Tuesday, you won't get a guilty Wednesday email asking why you didn't post.

The weekly check-in still fires after seven quiet days, because that's a meaningful gap regardless of cadence.

Your prompts stay ready when you are

The story prompts keep rotating in the background, so when your posting day rolls around, there's a fresh idea waiting. Take a rest day? Pick it up tomorrow. Nothing is wasted.

Why we built this

The biggest blocker to consistent content isn't "I don't know what to say." It's "I committed to too much, missed a day, and now I feel behind."

A cadence you can actually hit beats a cadence that beats you up. Two strong posts a week, every week, for a year, will outperform a daily streak that crashes after three weeks. Algorithms reward consistency. Audiences remember people who keep showing up. And showing up is much easier when the bar is set somewhere you can clear.

Change it any time

Cadence isn't a one-way door. Settings → Objective → Posting cadence. Click a number. Done. Crank it up when launches are coming, dial it back when the calendar's full.

Get started

If you already have a Magic Marketer account, head to Settings → Objective to set your cadence. New accounts will be prompted during onboarding.
